Were these taken with your GF1? The blues seem nicely toned down and color warmed up a bit.

I apologize for reposting this old thread; I was using it for research and meant to post in a new thread.

But while we are here, I'd like to say that I just picked up a G1 which must be a lot like a GF1. I also have a GF2. Do you suppose the same or similar settings should work for the G1?

Steve

You have done well the G1 is a good camera and now must be really cheap.

Yes with the GF1 as you can see on the EXIF. I almost always fine tune the AWB for the colors I like. And fine tune the Film modes. I have the GF1 and the G2 and still happy with results of the 12 megapixel sensor.

Aleo,

Lovely camera, I paid $225 with the 14-45. Great EVF, no smearing unlike the GH3.

My GF2 has the (slightly) improved sensor but it's like a heavy small clumsy brick in my slightly arthritic hands, and has no EVF. Same problem with LX3. What a difference! And I don't need the touchscreen or video.

Panasonic must have gone all-out when they designed the G1. It's virtually new, got it from a pro who gave it to his wife, who never used it. I have not installed any firmware, and wondering if I should. The new firmware will mean that I will only be able to use Panasonic replacement batteries. But I probably should.

Regards,

Steve
