For me essentially two reasons.

1) looks : BW wet prints are not better, but different from what I get with digital. Have kept a wet lab specifically for that. Occasionaly, I shoot a 400iso color film, for the grain. This adds something to some subjects, in my opinion. Highly subjective of course. And I also use some medium format film sometimes. Again, a different look. Basically, mixing the two mediums gives me more options.

2) There is no option to film when you have to shoot for a significant period of time with no power. Doesn't happen very often, I'll admit. In 2010, I was for two weeks in a remote fisher village on the southwestern coast of Madagascar. The closest power socket was one driving day away on very rough tracks. This was a 100% film shooting occasion, with a Contax G2 and a Leica M6 for the safety of a fully mechanical body.
