They made the rx1, an extremely niche` camera with a fixed prime lens for $3000.  A very strange move for sony, who likes to mass produce things.

For every advance in an aps-c image sensor, a 35mm image sensor will still be better.  The a99 lags behind the 35mm norm because it loses light going through that ridiculous see through mirror.
