Re: D600's sensor could compensate the loss of light
In reply to Liviu Namolovan, Apr 12, 2013

I have the D600 and for walk around mostly use the 24-85mm f/3.5-4.5 VR which is really quite nice and a good range, the VR is very good so the 3.5-4.5 speed is almost always fine. I have a 50 1.4, but don't use it that much except in low light. I have a 85mm f/1.8 on order now for over a month that I want for portraits, but I also have a 105 Micro that works for portraits pretty well, but it's a bit large & heavy.  Sometimes I wish I had gotten the 24-70 but I didn't. Practically speaking, the 24-85 lives on the D600 and only comes off when I need to shoot something it can't reach wider, longer or closer and that's it.
