Yes... it must be remembered.

I know that for a backfocus lens its the right near to the center point and always use it and now my tamron 17-50 is almost like in my a77 (saturaday will test it better in a photo session) and the sigma 75-200 looks great with the same focus point too so I Know that for people that say that there lens backfocus you now have a partial solution without having to unscrew or return to manufacturer.

... just the sigma 50mm f1.4 has the inconsistency problem (and by the way if you focus on infinity and in a subject it has more chance of misfocusing than if you refocus on a very close subject and then focus again in the subject you want to photograph).
