This one I like too, for what I would call a "dreamy" value, you managed to create a photographic space, related to smoking, which belongs to the smoker (and us). Her vision may be considered as "out" (of the world), but I don't perceive her as an outcast. It's more of an "inward" vision and so the gaze becomes dreamy. The clown for me is just a peripheral element and not interfering, so I would not crop anything out.

I've been a heavy smoker myself in some previous life, and don't regret it. Most of my friends are smokers too.

My good Christian wife was shocked one day when I asked whether, when we get to heaven, we'll be able to smoke once again (she never has).

I completely agree that photos of smokers tend to show them looking inward.
