OK for B&W printing that is neutral from the darkest to lightest portions of the print you need a printer that has more than one black. Most printers that will be able to give you more than two black ( Preferably 3 ) you will need a 13" wide printer.

The Canon PRO-100 is currently a really good one that rarely clogs. Only negative if any is that it is a dye ink printer rather than pigment.
