If I want to take the picture of a landscape focused at infinity, considering that light conditions are good, which aperture would you rather set: low aperture/fast shutter or high aperture/slow shutter ? without being at the extreme low aperture ( I know it is better to be 1 stop over the the lower limit).
Can the aperture/shutter have an effect on the color, dynamic range ?
which aperture would result to the best rendition ?

If you need more depth of focus: ...

Fine, for the most part, but its depth of field. Depth of focus is on the other end of the lens, and would determine the depth with regards the sensor or film plane, not the scene.
