If you are interested in the width of landscape you can cover with a single camera shot, perhaps you might consider that the LX7 (like the LX3 and LX5) can accept an accessory lens that increases its angle of capture to the equivalent of at least an 18mm lens. Panasonic provided 18 mm accessory lenses for the LX3 and LX5 which retained their f 2.0  speed. The 18 mm accessory lens for the LX5 can also be fitted to the LX7 using an OEM attachment to the bayonet mount in the LX7's lens base.

Alternatively, of course, you can stitch a series of OOC shots to gain greater width in a landscape
