Can't agree more. That's why there are so many options of adjusting an image in image editors. I never relied on auto or default adjustments. That was not the point of my post though. When I started using PN I discovered that by default it does few things that you are most likely to do in the post. For example, recover detail from the highlight or recover blown out highlights as much as possible (as opposed to lifting shadows which you may or may not do). By doing that for you (and by doing that as good as or better than any other converter), PN reduces the time significantly you are likely to spend in processing an image. You spend less time with PN to get the same of better result.

You have done a great job with LR. Shows how powerful it is.
