None of those images had anything sharp in them

Prove nothing except your can't get a sharp image (the yellow part of the flower) even with a 5d.

This is exactly right. With a proper choice of optics, a m43 mirrorless is as versatile as 35mm. I know because I use both.

(samples with a similar subject, top: 35mm digital; center: 35mm film; bottom: m43 digital)

I don't think there's any need to explain how 35mm can make a sharp landscape photo, is there?
