Doing the Spring Thing
Stellers Jay playing king of the tree top and being territorial.
This gets a little raucous when there are 6-8 of these guys in a small patch of forest.
This tree starts about 40 feet below my deck in a gully and then rises about 100-110 feet at the top of this snag. Lots of the tree is still quite alive but this snag is long gone by.
This Northern Flicker is resting on a live branch off of the same tree as above.
Working on the entrance to this summer's apartment.
I think that the couch will fit over there if I just peck a few more times.
