eg: FF user is going for a hike. They decide to take a 24-70f2.8 and a 70-200f2.8.

Their M4/3s using buddy going with them takes a 12-35f2.8, a 24-70f2.8, a 25mm f1.4, a 60mm macro, a 75-300, a fisheye, a flash and their lunch.

Now who's more versatile?

Terrible example. The FF lenses are 2 full stops ahead of the m4/3 lenses in equivalent aperture and match the 25/1.4 prime (but they zoom). You can substitute a 70-200/4 and still be ahead, or use even slower variable-aperture zooms and maintain equivalency. I admit that I don't know what you'd find to match the 75-300/4.8-6.7 m/4.3 zoom (f/9.6-13.4 equivalent!) on the FF side .

I thought that was actually a good example. M4/3s users generally know that they won't match FF in IQ. The compensation for that is that they get to take more toys. Thats the trade off.

Right, so for a more fair comparison you can take the FF body and slow lenses, and then you get to take more of them also.
