It also flips up, which is very nice, don’t think the X20 does that.

$549 is for body only, innit ? How much would a 28-112mm f 2.0-2.8 cost ?

The f/2.0-2.8 lens on the X20 is really equivalent to f/4.0-5.6 in micro four thirds terms.

A micro four thirds sensor is around 4x the size of the X20 sensor, so it collects around 4x the amount of light - or 2 more stops - which is equivalent to f/4.0-5.6 in micro four thirds terms. The 14-42mm kit lens (28-84mm equivalent) is f/3.5-5.6 - not quite as much reach as the X20 but a bit faster at the wide end.

So it's reasonable to make a direct comparison of the E-PL5 with kit lens to the X20.
