Without AA filter, you can get moire (and lots of false detail too):

But the thing is AA filter even when present is often too weak so you can get bad moire in D600 too (D7100 vs. D600 comparison on moire inducing jacket):

I have got moire with D90 too (on suit pattern, with very sharp prime lens).
