It is all about shooting technique. You need to move the camera steady when following action or panning moving subjects, and with the EVF your brain at first tell you to stop moving the camera after the first shot or burst. You just need to overcome this feeling. Then shooting format-filling action should not be more challenging than with an OVF camera. After some training, EVF lag is an non-issue! No matter if you shot single frames or one or more short bursts.
