R3000 and Paper Thickness
Apr 4, 2013

Hope you could help me please with the following questions.

1 I mainly use paper between 290 -320g/m2 can these weights of papers be fed into the R3000 via the top loader rather than the front fine art tray and would I need to set the platen to 'wide' for the range of these papers.

2. I have been reading this review on the R3000 and the author suggests a cyan cast for B+W printing and to overcome this use Advanced B+W where it is not necessary to use any media profiles as the ABW takes care of everything.......also he recommends using Highlight Point Shift to apply a light grey to the whites ??? to eliminate gloss differential.

Is he right in what he says and I would welcome your comments please.

Thanks

Dave
