A very nice, concise summary, GB.  I think I'll have to include a link to it in my 4th End Note.  Then we'll have links to ISO/Read Noise, Pixel Counts, and Cross-Format Equivalence.

My only comment is in regard to

In relation to all that comes both before and after, I suspect to those who haven't been through all this before, the introduction of ISOs, particularly with an "e.g.", will seem rather out-of-the-blue and be a bit of a mystery.  Perhaps some small explanation is in order.

But, overall, a very lovely job.
