Certainly the Fuji kit lens rocks! OTOH while expensive, the 14 2.8 sounds like another option and would meet the need for architecture/low-light shooting!

No flash, hand held, no pp, just OOC.  The 18-55 is worth the money.  I'll wait the the 10-24 zoom, but it will be next year, and hope it will be just as good.
