What is a backup?

To me a backup is used in an emergency - your OMD fails for whatever reason.  Now if you want a second camera to carry around in your pocket, that is a different matter.

For a backup another OMD is the best, but since you probably won't shoot with two cameras makes little sense.  I have an older EPM-1 that takes up very little room in my suitcase and is there in an emergency.  I would of course prefer the EPM-2, but no sense spending the money if it is only used as a backup.  Big reason for either?  Same lenses and I travel with 5 of them.
