Make it a portrait orientation with a visual line extending from the upper right hand corner through the upper right wing extending through the lower left wing to the lower left hand corner. This should be a relatively tight crop leaving out most of the background. You may want to darken/contrast the birds to make them stand out against the background. I don't know how to physically edit your photo.
