Re: Are Macs better than PCs for photography work? If so, why?

I work with both PCs and Macs, for photo and graphic design work. Ive worked with Macs for years and years, but got a job 5 years ago that was PC platform based until recently, when we bought a few Macs to use KeyNote in presentations.

Software-wise, there is no difference anymore. It's just a matter of keystroke modifications. If I was buying a machine, I'd buy a Mac. Less crashes, less software problems, easier machine to maintain and load software, fonts, etc into.

And yes, Macs are less prone to virus's. Which, when it happens to you once, will be enough of a reason to jump to Macs.
