The FM-10 is a good basic entry level camera. It is not up to the build quality as the FM2, but it works as a decent film SLR. It is made by Cosina for Nikon as it has the same build and internal components as the Ricoh KR5 Super II and KR5-III.
I'd look for the Ricoh models used as you can find them cheap. I picked up one that looks unused and came with a 50mm f/1.7 lens for $30. It has the Pentax K mount so you can find loads of lenses on the cheap.
