I wanted to purchase a filter to protect my lens when shooting indoors, since outside I plan to use a B+W circular polarizer. The only clear filters I find online seem to be UV filters, but obviously UV isn't an issue indoors, so I wanted to make sure it wouldn't negatively affect the images somehow (I'm assuming not, since they are indeed supposed to be clear, but thought I'd check with more experienced photographers anyway.)  Thanks!

Very little, so as you'd never notice. I have had  UV filters on all my dslr cameras since they were new.
