I have two 3800 running on Inkjetfly carts.

I no longer buy 3rd party inks but instead buy large volume K3 ink Epson carts for a bit more than the same 110ml for even Inkjetmall ( the best inks ) By the way Image Specialist sells only to dealers. You have create an account and request a quote. That's why you do not see a price. However both Precission Colors and Injetcarts sell IS inks. Inkjetfly has the inks formulated for them.

I recently bought three 110ml K3 Magenta OEM carts for $9 a piece on Ebay. I am able to refill my 80ml carts, for about $25 - $35 with OEM inks this way. A pro 3880 sells for at least $55 each and even when declared empty, it still contains betwen 8 to 13ml of expesive ink you end up tossing.

Can you explain how you refilled the smaller 3800 OEM carts from the larger 110ml OEM carts?  Will the printer recognize the increased volume?  I've used search to no avail.

Also, a question on your math.  As each 110ml cartridge is $9, how do you come up with the $25-35 cost to refill the smaller cartridge?  Seems to me the cost would be less than $9.  What am I missing?
