The different Intel tools / drivers to speed up:

Intel Rapid Start technology:

Intel Smart Connect Technology:

Intel Rapid Storage Technology:

This last tool (RAID) is used by me, but as the Samsung Magician toolbox doesn't recognize a RAID-0 setup for it's SSD's, it doesn't support TRIM-functions using RAID-0. So I switched back, and only for some circumstances I set up a RAID-0 combination. I hope Samsung shall upgrade their tools to use TRIM functions under RAID-0.

Typically using the Intel Rapid Storage Technology tool, does set-up a RAID-0 for Samsung SSD's and still are recognizing these SSD'S as "Samsung". So in spite it is not Samsung software, it does support the Samsung SSD's in a better way than the Samsung toolbox itself.
Apropos, I make use of Win8 (64) as my OS, not Win7. But that does not make that big difference.
