clueless. f2.8 is f2.8 on either or. one has more DOF and one has less based on sensor size. but as an aperture, f2.8 is still the same thing.

F-stops, such as f/2.8,  are the ratio of focal length to diameter of the entrance pupil (roughly the same as aperture).  A 100 f/2.8 lens has twice the aperture of a 50 f/2.8 lens.
