Are you kidding?       MFT lens  Expensive?    What MFT lenses do you own?

Check out the prices of good Canon "L" glass or even some of the better standard ones.  You'll want the best glass you can afford for your  DSLR.   Not cheap either.

I'm sure you did your research on the MFT format and cost of lenses.  before  you laid your cash or credit card on the GX1 kit, right?

So,  what  exactly  were  your  expectations in  the  decision to go to MFT ?  Size? Weight? Good enough for a casual snap shooter?  Secondary camera to DSLR?   Wanted better  IQ than from small sensor P&S?

since I have both  Canon 5DMKII and Panasonic GX1.   I'll take the MFT kit every time  when weight  and small size are factors I need to consider.  MFT IQ is more than good enough, for  me.
