I've compared them @ similar sized images - the Toshiba sensor is better overall. Not a huge improvement in high ISO but it's better. You get more detail which allows a bit more noise manipulation with less loss of detail.

Note - this is comparing a D5100 to a D7100.............but it's the same sensor.

And Toshiba excels at color rendition, evidenced in their sensors.
