Is this thing really going to make it capable for m4/3 users to get decent shots of birds?!?

I would like it if they made this for standard 4/3 and dare I say it... a shorter focal length as well as this one.......

This is reallllllly cool!

If you reallywant to get into digiscoping I'd look at something like this: http://www.optcorp.com/ce-52303-regal-100-f-ed-spotting-scope.htmlinstead. It's got a little bit of aperture to it.

Without an eyepiece it acts as a 580mm f/5.6 lens. It's not likely that it's very sharp at the edges, but it should be plenty sharp in the middle. CA should be at least somewhat well-controlled with some ED lens elements. Should have better contrast than a mirror lens. It's not little though.

It comes with a zoom eyepiece if you want to go crazy with the focal length. It should be faster and give you longer reach than the SLRmagic telescope.

I think it even comes with some T-rings. You just need a t-mount to m43 adapter (cheap) and you can mount your camera to it.

Don't skimp on the tripod!
