Yeah, I remember when photographers were proud of the brassing on their cameras. It indicated that you were actively taking pictures rather than babying your equipment. I have to admit I've never seen this degree of brassing. This guy must have been shooting every day of his life and getting bumped around quite a bit at those concerts.

A Canon F-1 that I used for many years got a slight bit worn on the edges. None of the Canon digital cameras I've used has the slightest bit of wear and I don't baby my cameras. A Canon 1D MKII once fell from the tripod to concrete pavement. I know the body hit but I could not detect any sign of the fall. No abrasion. No ding. Nothing. And the body continued to work just fine. Of course the lens, a 24 TS was damaged. I was impressed.
