RX100 dead battery design flaw?
1

I keep finding my RX100 turned on in my pocket or case, or worse, the battery totally run down. I've deduced that the slightest touch on the view button turns the camera on. This is really unacceptable for a camera in this price range. My Fuji X10 turns on using the view button but only after pressing it for several seconds. Sony needs to modify the firmware to allow disabling turning the camera on with this button. I like the ability to view shots without extending the lens but not if I'm going to keep finding my camera with a dead battery just when I need it.
