You have me totally confused about what you are trying to accomplish!

You do not need to toggle any iCloud settings. If you want to sync via WiFi, you do not need to connect using USB (unless to satisfy condition 3 below).

Instead on the iPad go to:

"General->iTunes Wi-Fi Sync" then choose Sync Now.

This assumes:

1. MBPro and iPad are set to the same Apple ID.

2. MBPro and iPadare on the same Wi-Fi network

3. iPad is plugged into power.

Thanks for your reply.

1. MBPro and iPad are set to the same Apple ID.

2. MBPro and iPad are on the same Wi-Fi network

3. iPad is plugged into power.

However: under "General:>iTunes Wi-Fi Sync", Sync Now was greyed out and the screen read "To enable Wi-Fi with iTunes on our computer a cable and click "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi."

After connecting iPad and MBPro with cable, Sync was accomplished.

However, there was no place to click "Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi".

So, it doesn't seem that I can sync over Wi-Fi - or does it?

Thanks for your suggestions.
