I really like bokeh what these 28mm close focus Vivitars can make! I have had this 28/2.8 model, but now I have its f/2 version. It can also produce special - almost artistic - background blur...Like this:

Well yeah it certainly is distinctive although I'll have to work out where the bokeh can work well and what to avoid. It was certainly a lot of fun to bring this lens back from the dead and the close focus capability really means you can get a wide blown look of a subject. I think I'll bring it to my local botanical gardens if you are allowed to that is!
