Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 vs 24-70 II@35 mm bokeh question

I have at a moment for my 5D MkIII 3 lenses - 17-40 f/4L USM, 50 f/1.4 USM and 70-200 f/4L IS USM. As the 17-40 FF corner performance wide open isn't impressive, I am inclined towards purchase of a fast wide angle lens. I love the perspective of 35 mm focal length, so I am thinking about purchase of Sigma 35 mm f/1.4 DG HSM. On the other hand, buying the EF 24-70 f/2.8 II will be more versatile decision, at least for traveling, but I realize that also much more expensive. My main concern is how much the bokeh of both candidates (Sigma 35 mm and Canon 24-70 at 35 mm) differs when shooting at f/2.8. Has anyone these two lenses and will be obliging to make the comparative shots? Many thanks in advance.

Canon EOS 5D
