These images are from the media museum at Brandts in Odense http://brandts.dk/en/current-exhibitions

This old printing equipment is fascinating. It has never been my work, but I’ve always liked the press.

I went there to see some exhibitions with press photos. The work of these guys, who shoot under real life conditions, appeals to me and gives me inspiration. It’s also good to see, what look of postprocessing is en vogue.

I have also converted all of them to B&W. Most of them work very well.

But I found that the colour versions had something, that the B&Ws were missing.

The rich colour hues and play of different light colours.

Brooklyn727, it’s all about going out and shooting a lot, being curious and experimenting. And getting some theoretical knowledge of the basics.
