High frame rate single frame quality
Mar 26, 2013

I am aware of the resolution specs for the latest high speed video consumer Casios, but have not seen any actual single frame images. (The EX-ZR15 looks like a modest cost option). And I also understand that the auto-selected shutter speed may not freeze a moving object within a frame.  But I'd like to see some actual images taken at 240 fps or higher.  My intended application is to study the movement of radio control model servos (on test bench), so bright artificial illumination can be arranged. I am aware that single long exposure with a series of strobe flashes is an alternative, but there are certain patterns of movement (e.g. start or reversal delay that are not easily interpreted from a single multi-flash image.
