Charity as a price objection

My market is dominated by clients that are tied to charity organizations.  Every client I work for or bid on is either a charity or is raising money for a charity.  The ones that I have chosen to support, I support. I cannot cut my rates to the bone for every organization in my market.

And, I do not have a retort for "we can't afford you because we are raising money for X charity"

I focus very heavily on my value-add and bring things to the table that are somewhat unique, and have tried to leverage those things to find some agreeable middle ground with little to no success.

What I want to do is to ask if this service provider or that service provider took two-thrids off their price.  However, that's probably a bad idea.

Anybody have better ideas?
