Make sure to disable that "feature"....

IOW, because Windows 8 is using a version of hibernate to speed up boot times, if you try to use another Operating System (Linux, Windows XP, Win 7, etc.)  to access data in the same partitions, you're going to risk file system corruption unless you disable the "features" included in Windows 8 that give you faster shutdown and boot up.
