Thanks Lincoln, that's a lovely shot and the light looks to me spot on. It really makes a difference and you can see someone paying good money to have a professional photo of that standard.

I've done a little experimenting in doors and seem to be getting there. tried full manual and auto with compensation. Ive also used bounce off walls/ceilings to soften the light which again has made a big difference.

Need to get out and now try the fill.

Any ideas on where to get the warm up gels/filters for the flash? With my Nikon speedlights I got filters that are orange, too oranage which are for tungsten light. Do nikon do gels?
