Hoboken Michelle,

Do you have Photoshop?   There are a couple of tricks that will sharpen up the edges without adding a lot of noise to the image.  One is the high-pass filter, and another involves using the 'find-edges' filter with an alpha channel.  I'll post instructions for that one if you like.

The image doesn't look bad on my monitor, but would probably look sharper if you were to lighten it just a bit, and then add a little contrast and saturation.

Just my 2¢ worth.
