After extensive searching on google because I did not want to spend a lot of money just to view psd thumbnails, I finally found a solution to the problem.  A program called SageThumbs works well to view psd thumbnails (and more) in windows explorer, and the best part is that it is free. When I first intalled it, I did have some issues where it displayed some of my psd files' thumbnails but not all of them, so I did a quick google search and came up with the solution, which is pretty simple; it just involves changing the settings in the SageThumbs program. Basically, all you have to do is check the box that says, "Prefer image file embedded thumbnails" and choose a higher "Maximum size of image file," for example 200MB.
