Lena, You must live way upstate! I live in SW Vermont, right next door to NY, and the last couple of winters we've been getting both rain and snow! Either way, it's windy... Just wish the skies weren't almost always gray - not very good light.

I'm actually in western NY. We had a gorgeous summer and the winter was very delayed, but the weather is more than making up for it now... so much for the spring equinox! It gets surprisingly sunny, though.
