Okay, calm down there, Iksmada :^)  The right raw conversion is critical when you're playing at this level.  The sharpening has to be correct or noise will be brought up to an unacceptable level.  Different adjustments will be necessary!  The D7100 has about as much detail as a 5DIII or a D600. The D700 isn't even on the same playing field.   Have a look at the test scene here in full res.  Click through to the full 6000X4000.  DPR will not host this, it's too darn big.  I left the little bit of noise in because it's not visible at normal view.  CNX2 would have been able to remove that residual noise with no problem at all, to say nothing of Topaz Denoise et al.
