What happens to new firmware for 5D 3???

If I'm not mistaken, the firmware is pushed back into late April and will include some fixes plus the AF at f8. Patience is a virtue but I would prefer sooner than later! i hope they bump up the fps to 8fps. The six fps is just way too slow. Those extra 2 fps make a huge difference on the 7D. Since the 7DII won't be out until maybe fall, the extra 2 fps would be a very nice consolation feature until then. I could be tempted to buy a Nikon if it doesn't happen soon.
