Do Elinchrom RX lights need a power pack?

Thanks for the tip. Does anyone know where I can get long power cords that are HAR-certified or VDE-certified? Thats what the manual says they need to be.

Anyway, yes, plug it into the wall. EXCEPT plug two into a power bar with a circuit breaker and plug the other two into another circuit breaker.

That makes it easier to restore power if things blow.

I've run lihts from an extension cord plugged into an outlet on a stove; never blown anything that way. So run a cord from the kitchen.
