Not surprising - they don't get new cameras quickly

Again!
Due for delivery today and just got the stock not delivered blah blah blah e-mail.
Very disappointing.
It was a similar story when my NEX-7 from them in 2011, they didn't have it when other places did, in the end my order was cancelled and I decided never to order cameras on a pre-order from amazon UK again. I've had other similar experiences as well with new camera releases with Amazon. I just don't think they get first dibs in the way they do in other countries.
All I would say is that Amazon are great for good prices on accessories but I think other dealers get stuff sooner. Try Park Cameras, WEX or Harrisons in the future. Or wait until after the camera is generally available and get it from amazon.
