Panorama Feature Not Working on RX100

Hi, all -

Every time I try to use the panorama setting, I get an error message that it wouldn't work: either that I was moving too slowly or that I'm not holding it steady enough.  I've tried it quickly and slowly, and nothing has worked: I haven't been able to take a single panoramic photo.  Ideas re: what I'm doing wrong?
