6D More birds in flight, and a visit from the Burgomaster

More photos from last week, I'm getting so many keepers with the 6D I can't keep up. We had a rare visitor from the arctic last week, it was a Glaucous Gull also known as the Burgomaster, lots of birders in the Gothenburg fish harbour looking for it as it flew around. It was difficult to get a good photo, but I got a few quick chances, the enormous size of it helped. Here it is:
It looks like a large pale Herring Gull, no black tail feathers
It had a sort of ghostly look to it
Heres my best photo of the Burgomaster, it's a magnificent bird I think
And heres some other photos from Thusday and Friday
Juvenile Herring gull
Great Cormorant
Great Cormorant again, with gulls artistically arranged in the background;-)
The 400/5.6 with TC even does sort of landscapes.
Early morning at Kornhalls ferry, Bohuslän Sweden
I think I used the 400/5.6 lens and 1.4X teleconverter on all these, it's a terrific combination with
6D, autofocus is very fast and accurate.
Hope you like the photos
