Overall does this existing light portrait "work" ?

I am looking for feedback on this shot as a casual portrait and also technically.

Shot this using a 50mm Pentax -KA adapted to my T2i. CR2 to tiff in LR4.3 using Imagenomic - Portraiture and Alien Skin - Exposure to mimic Kodachrome with a slight diffusion vignette.
